This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that requires 1 day a week in our Coventry Head Office and occasional travel to our Campus locations. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

About our Department

Our People Team play a pivotal role in delivering Arden University’s people strategy, supporting colleagues across the full employee lifecycle. The team provides expert services across recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, wellbeing, workforce planning and organisational change, helping to create a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.


About the Opportunity

In this role, you will support the work of the Employee Relations Team by:

* Managing a range of employee relations cases efficiently and effectively, including absence, grievance, disciplinary, and performance matters.
* Delivering training, coaching, and upskilling managers in best people practices, ensuring alignment with Arden University’s values.
* Contributing to various HR advisory and project initiatives that support Arden University’s strategic goal of becoming an employer of choice, such as wellbeing, employee engagement, and policy development.


About You

We are looking for an HR professional with:

* Hands-on experience working in an HR environment, including managing casework and ensuring compliance with policy and best practice.
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively influence and engage with a range of stakeholders.
* A proven ability to build strong and collaborative working relationships at all levels.
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information and use it to inform decision-making.
* A proactive and adaptable approach, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic organisation.
