Role: Secondary English Teacher
Hourly Rate: £180 – £210
Location: Scarborough
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about English education and keen to make a positive impact on young people’s learning and progress.
The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, a creative approach to lesson planning, and the ability to inspire pupils through both literature and language. While experience is beneficial, a proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills are equally valued.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering high-quality English lessons that motivate and challenge pupils
• Supporting pupils' learning, progress, and wellbeing in class
• Working closely with teaching staff to meet individual learning needs
• Encouraging independence, engagement, and inclusion
• Building strong and positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
