You wont find a better role on day shift hours.Main DutiesUndertake electrical maintenance cover for production to ensure that breakdowns and other issues are resolved promptly, and downtime is minimised.Utilise system to ensure that all Active Maintenance work is logged, recorded and closed.Utilise the Maintenance Request Data Base to ensure that all Reactive Maintenance work is logged, recorded and closed.Undertake project work through from installation to commissioning to ensure changes are implemented to the plan and refined if necessary.Provide technical support within the engineering department, to other operational departments and external contractors to ensure that the best solutions are identified and implemented.Attend and contribute to team meetings which drive departmental performance to support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.Follow all site rules relating to health & safety, environment and quality to ensure that we remain compliant with all legislation and internal procedures.Safe dismantling of machines, performing checks and assisting breakdownsConducting weekly energy readings and reporting back to management on any issuesConduct daily risk assessments on workstations, machines and production floor and reporting any maintenance requirements in line with health and safety regulationsSuccessful candidate must have:Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, or equivalent, or strong experienceA recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or experience, typically gained as an electrical engineer in a manufacturing environment.Strong attention to detailExperience of fault diagnosis on PLCsWhat you need to do nowThis truly is a great opportunity, if youre interested in this role, clickapply now to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or callSkills:Electrical Maintenance PPM Multi-Skilled Engineering Electrical Equipment Fault FindingWHJS1_NI
