Operations Supervisor – University of Edinburgh
Grade UE07: £26,093 to £28,778 per annum. Guaranteed Hours contract. Fixed term: ending 31 August 2026. 6 positions.
We are looking for Operations Supervisors to oversee daily operations of our university facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of operational staff, liaising with colleagues from the University, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service.
The Opportunity
Under the guidance of the Facility/Duty Management teams, you will assist in supervising staff to ensure the delivery of Sport & Exercise’s industry‑leading facilities and services to our members and guests. This includes supporting Sports Union clubs, VIP visitors, and University employees. Experience in a fast‑paced service environment is essential, along with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to teamwork and adaptability to change.
This role will be based at one of our award‑winning sites: The Pleasance Sports Complex, St Leonard’s Land, or Peffermill Playing Fields.
