Teaching Personnel are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a warm and nurturing Primary School seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This long-term role will begin on Monday 13th April 2026 and will continue for a full year.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Early Years provision, ensuring children receive the very best start to their education. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging EYFS curriculum lessons
Creating a stimulating, supportive and child-centred learning environment
Tracking and assessing pupil progress in line with EYFS frameworks
Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
The Ideal Educator Will:
Hold QTS or equivalent Early Years teaching qualification
Have strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum and child development
Be committed to creating meaningful learning experiences
Show warmth, patience and an engaging approach to teaching
Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
