AOG/Line Technical Records Coordinator- Luton
Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Preparing time critical maintenance inputs from start to finish
* Communicating with operators, suppliers and third parties when necessary
* Evaluating Work Scopes, reported aircraft defects and discrepancies
* Preparing the work documents for the CS and the mechanics
* Working with CPM for Maintenance work (W/O) project management
* Promoting Safety for self and others
How to thrive in this role?
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Knowledge of applicable EASA and FAA regulations, with additional regulations such as applicable for Isle of Man/San Marino/etc preferred
* Basic knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations
* Knowledge of Manuals (i.e. MPD, AMM, IPC, etc.) and understanding of aircraft systems
* Knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL
* Effective communication in both written and verbal form on individual task and/or aircraft status
* System knowledge (computer skills)
* At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance planner
* Experience with Bombardier aircrafts, or other Business Aircraft
* Good communication skills in English
* Team player abilities
* Flexibility and motivated decision maker
* Previous Line maintenance Experience within Tech Records/Planning experience preferred
* Sound understanding of safety management systems surrounding aircraft operating processes and procedures
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)
