Overview

Housekeeper – Belfast

Hourly Rate: £12.50

Working Hours: 10am – 2pm. 2 shifts per week


Responsibilities

* Provide an exceptional, personalised room cleaning service to students by ensuring studios are maintained to a clean, healthy and presentable standard.
* Perform dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, anti-bacterial cleaning of surfaces and making beds, working towards designated schedules.
* Ensure facilities are looked after respectfully by students and guests; maintain the upkeep of premium site and facilities.
* Be on hand, delivering solutions to issues or challenges that may arise; act as a point of contact for incidents or emergencies onsite.
* Maintain waste management areas, adhering to health & safety regulations; address, clean and tidy potential hazards as required.
* Record and manage each studio clean using a smartphone/tablet; photograph each studio clean before and after each clean.
* Report any concerning behaviour of students that could indicate welfare concerns.
* Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate needs to the Assistant Residence Manager or Residence Manager; assist in ordering stock.
* Understand and follow COSHH regulations to protect health and safety when using cleaning chemicals.


Who we want to join our team

* A well-versed housekeeping professional with experience in large, multi-room residence facilities (e.g., accommodation buildings, hotels, hospitals).
* Technologically astute; comfortable with using a variety of technology systems and software.
* Good understanding of COSHH regulations and practices.

* Flexible availability: facilities are open 24/7/365, with some time off possible for festive and religious celebrations; flexibility from staff is imperative to ensure continuous service.
