We are looking for a talented and connected Women’s Football Editor to join our global 90min content team in London. This role is a full-time four-month contract that will hopefully transition to permanent. You will cover the biggest stories in women’s football (WSL, UWCL, NWSL and international), be required to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities. Candidates must understand what readers of women’s football content want and how to reach them. Audience development skills and experience will be essential in this role. You will be a self-starter, have good contacts, excellent communication skills and attention to detail. What you'll do Lead 90min’s English language women’s football editorial content strategy, ensuring high quality standards. Write and edit articles on women’s football. Manage a small team of writers and freelancers. Help create a written content strategy to substantially grow 90min’s women’s football audience. Provide regular reporting with key insights and context. Identify opportunities to grow our user base and maximize audience consumption. Collaborate with the wider 90min team on filmed interviews, shows and podcasts. Represent 90min at select women’s football matches and events. Build key contacts in the women’s football industry with a view to sourcing interviews and exclusive stories. Share knowledge and insights with other members of the global 90min team reporting on women’s football. Collaborate with other members of the global 90min team in covering major finals and tournaments.
