What is the job role?
This is a great opportunity to join our Business Partnering Team as an Accountant, supporting Children’s & Education Services. You’ll build strong relationships with service leads, acting as a trusted advisor to support effective financial planning and management.
You’ll interpret financial data and present clear, concise insights to managers, enabling informed decision making. Alongside budgeting, forecasting and final accounts, you’ll find creative solutions to financial challenges and ensure all outputs meet professional standards. Your work will help ensure public money is used effectively to deliver strong outcomes for our communities.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is qualified (CCAB/CIMA) or close to qualifying (actively studying), and ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll be naturally curious, keen to learn, and comfortable working with numbers and data. Just as importantly, you’ll enjoy working with people to build relationships, explaining financial information clearly, and contributing ideas. If you’re proactive, adaptable, and motivated by making a real difference, you’ll fit right in with our team.
