About the role We’re looking for a high-calibre Senior Software Engineer to help solve complex, real-world problems for legal professionals. At Definely, we build products like Cascade and Enhance that help lawyers analyse, navigate, and act on complex contracts. This includes problems like understanding dependencies across documents, surfacing relevant information in context, and applying AI to improve how documents are structured and reviewed. We’re looking for someone who is intellectually curious, product-minded, and motivated by solving meaningful problems. You’ll work across the stack using modern TypeScript and Python, contributing wherever the problem requires, from user experience to backend services. You’ll partner closely with product, design, and leadership to shape what we build and how we build it, while contributing to architecture and raising the bar for technical quality.
