The Position: We're looking for a Beauty Therapy Lecturer Part-time (18.5 hours)
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Beauty therapy Lecturer to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students across a range of Beauty qualifications. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of industry professionals.
What skills are we looking for:
* A high level of Beauty therapy occupational standards with relevant qualifications and at least five years' experience.
* Education & Training or equivalent teaching qualification. (or willing to work towards).
* TAQA or equivalent assessing qualification is essential.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Commitment to student success and continuous professional development.
Responsibilities for the role:
Teaching and Learning
* Deliver practical and theory-based lessons (Levels 1–3).
* Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
* Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
* Keep accurate records of attendance and progress.
Curriculum Development
* Help design and update course content to reflect industry trends.
* Ensure teaching meets qualification and industry standards.
* Take part in assessment moderation and quality checks.
Student Support
* Provide academic and personal support to students.
* Guide learners on career and progression opportunities.
* Promote a positive and respectful classroom environment.
Professional Practice
* Stay up to date with industry standards and teaching methods.
* Follow health, safety, and safeguarding policies.
* Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
* Willingness to work flexible hours/days to accommodate course timetables and college events
The Location: Main site would be Nuneaton Campus, but with flexibility to work occasionally at our Wigston campus if required.

The pay range we're offering is Unqualified 22-26 £13,764-£15,480 Qualified £15,946-£20,791 per annum FTE this will be based on qualifications and experience and will be discussed at point of offer.
