Our IBC technology supports world‑class manufacturers in the food, nutrition, pharmaceutical, chemical, and metal powders sectors. We’re looking for a confident, customer‑focused Service Engineer to join our Aftermarket team. If you enjoy variety, problem‑solving, and working directly with clients, this could be the perfect role for you. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be the face of Matcon on customer sites—providing maintenance, troubleshooting, repair support, and technical advice. You'll travel across the UK & Ireland, with occasional trips across Europe and beyond. Key responsibilities include: Performing service & maintenance activities at customer sites Troubleshooting technical issues and advising on upgrades Conducting RMA investigations at Matcon UK Preparing service and spares quotations Delivering clear, professional site reports Building strong relationships with service customers Providing training and guidance to client engineering teams Collaborating with Service Account Managers to spot opportunities What You’ll Bring HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Engineering Strong mechanical engineering knowledge Understanding of controls, instrumentation & pneumatics Great troubleshooting and diagnostic skills A proactive, professional, customer-first mindset Willingness to travel at short notice Full UK driving licence preferred PLC knowledge is a bonus (training provided) What We Provide Comprehensive training across mechanical, electrical, software, and H&S areas Shadowing with experienced Service & Commissioning Engineers Cross-functional understanding of Matcon’s internal processes Flexibility to work remotely once trained The chance to represent a well-established global brand Why Join Us?
