The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position will focus on managing the monthly payroll process while contributing to the wider finance function.
You'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll, alongside supporting purchase ledger and general finance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end monthly payroll (PAYE, pensions, statutory payments)
* Processing starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime and expenses
* Managing payroll queries and maintaining accurate records
* Posting payroll journals and supporting reporting
* Processing supplier invoices and payments
* Reconciling supplier accounts and managing aged creditors
* Processing staff expenses and company card transactions
* Reconciling income streams and posting journals
* Supporting general finance activities
* Identifying and implementing process improvements
What We're Looking For
* Strong end-to-end payroll experience
* Experience across purchase ledger
* Comfortable posting journals
* Good Excel skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a small team
* This role will suit someone who already has solid payroll experience and can pick things up quickly
