Hunt & Taylor Electrical Services is looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team, focusing on both commercial and residential electrical installation and testing. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime available. Requirements We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician with expertise in both residential and commercial electrical installation and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be capable of working on diverse projects. A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively are essential. Duties: Install electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings, including all forms of containment and cabling. Perform electrical testing and inspection to ensure compliance with regulations (2391 qualification essential). Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems. Safely and effectively use own power tools and hand tools to complete electrical installations. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and contractors on-site to ensure timely project completion. Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions promptly. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures. Skills & Requirements: ECS Gold Card and 2391 Inspection and Testing qualifications are essential. Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to their own transport initially. Must possess their own set of essential electrical hand tools and power tools. A clean DBS check is required (we can assist the successful candidate in applying). Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety practices. Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including schematics and wiring diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Benefits Salary & Benefits: £37,800 per annum. Company vehicle and fuel card will be provided to the successful applicant after probation period. Monday to Friday working hours with the option for overtime when needed. Full-time position.
