Business Support and Planning Officer Full Time (35 hrs/wk), fixed term for up to 10 months (maternity cover). Based Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) with up to two days per week working from home Salary range £30,000 to £33,000 pa plus benefits We are looking for an organised, passionate, and student focused professional to join the University's busy Academic Registry team. You will play a vital role in supporting key activities to enhance the student experience, contributing to both project work and essential student lifecycle processes. With a strong focus on collaboration, service excellence, and compliance, this role is integral to ensuring a seamless and high-quality student experience. Your accountabilities and responsibilities include: Assist with the implementation of strategic objectives and key projects Support the Implementation of new integrated degree apprenticeships Coordinate and manage the University's academic calendar, including setting key dates and planning student lifecycle activities Support the planning and organisation of graduation ceremonies Assist the Head of Academic Registry with the preparation of papers and reports for deliberative committees Our main requirements: Experience in a similar role Experience coordinating events or projects Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Relationship-building skills across teams and stakeholders At University of the Built Environment we expect employees to demonstrate our values: Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Support.
