Support Worker (Pembrokeshire Supported Employment)
The Pembrokeshire Supported Employment Programme provides supported employment to people with a wide range of disabilities. In this rewarding role you will provide support and training to people with an impairment or difference to enable them to get the most out of their placement in the shop.
You will work alongside and assist adults with learning disabilities, neurological conditions, physical and emotional needs, including young adults with profound and multiple conditions, to participate in opportunities which are valuing, meaningful and enable the individual to continue their training and learning to enable them to develop a quality lifestyle and reach maximum independence.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who provides practical assistance and encouragement to individuals while supporting their participation in a range of activities. This role promotes physical well-being, independence, and social engagement through hands-on support. Experience of working with or an understanding of people with Learning Disability, Physical Disability and/or Autism would be an advantage. Applicants will be provided with training in support and job coaching.
As a Support Worker you will be able adapt teaching methods and provide differentiated support based on individual learning styles, physical limitations, and emotional needs.

1 x 18.5 hrs – Support Worker (Retail) – Scolton Manor - F ixed-term until March 2027.
While this role is initially based in the retail area, we occasionally ask Support Workers to cover in other areas.
Support Worker (Retail): We have an exciting opportunity to join our team and work as a Support Worker based in The Station Shop at Scolton Manor (18.5hrs per week). Our shop sells a wide range of gifts, food, hot and cold drinks and is open 7 days a week, 50 weeks of the year. As an ideal candidate, you should have experience in a customer-facing environment and possess customer service / retail skills. You will support people to do tasks including
* Customer service.
* Stock display and rotation.
* Taking money and giving change.
* Making and serving hot drinks.
* Cleaning and maintenance of the shop.
* Recycling
This role is based on a shift pattern which includes weekends.
