Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm | Friday 8:00am-2:30pm
Contract: Permanent | Full Time
Pay Rate: £ per hr + Bonus Scheme + Overtime
Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a leading manufacturing client in Derry/Londonderry.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Assembler seeking a permanent role within a high-quality engineering and manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will support the mechanical assembly of electrical switchgear and electro-mechanical systems, ensuring precision, quality and safety throughout the build process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical assembly of switchgear and electro-mechanical systems
2. Working from engineering drawings and technical documentation
3. Fitting, building and assembling components for new and repeat products
4. Identifying and reporting non-conforming or defective products
5. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality
Essential Criteria
6. Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Assembler
7. Experience within manufacturing or engineering environments
8. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
9. Skilled in using engineering hand tools and workshop equipment
