Steele Charles are delighted to be working with a purpose-driven, B Corp-certified organisation in the speciality food & beverage sector to recruit a People Partner to join their team during an exciting phase of growth.
This is a hands-on, generalist HR role supporting around 130 employees across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce. You’ll work closely with the Director of People & Culture to deliver an exceptional employee experience—from recruitment and onboarding through to engagement, wellbeing, and learning & development.
✨ What You’ll Be Doing:
✅ Act as the go-to advisor for employee and line manager queries
✅ Drive engagement and wellbeing initiatives across the business
✅ Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
✅ Manage HR admin, compliance and payroll inputs (HRIS: Bob)
✅ Support performance management and training coordination
✅ Analyse people data and contribute to Board reporting and strategy
🔎 What We’re Looking For:
📌 CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
📌 Strong generalist HR experience
📌 Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
📌 Experience in fast-paced, people-first environments (e.g. retail, hospitality, production)
📌 Organised, proactive and empathetic approach
📌 Confident using HR systems and data to inform decision-making
