Assurance Officer (Children)
Salary: Grade 6 £29,540 to £32,597 per year
Location: Church Square House, Scunthorpe
Hours: 37 hours per week

The Vacancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assurance Officer to join our One Family Approach Project Team within Children and Families.
This role is pivotal in supporting the successful implementation of the Families First reforms, delivered through our One Family Approach strategy. The Assurance Officer will provide high-quality business support to ensure the effective operation of the project and associated functions.
You will play a vital role in:
* Supporting the project team with project coordination, stakeholder engagement and reporting.
* Organising and minuting meetings, and working closely with the Project Manager to ensure smooth delivery of workstreams.
* Acting as a key point of contact with external partners and commissioned providers to support project outcomes.
* Assisting senior officers in maintaining compliance with governance and partnership arrangements.
We are looking for someone who:
* Is confident in delivering accurate, high-quality information to senior officers.
* Can build and maintain strong working relationships across the partnership.
* Is highly motivated, adaptable, and understands the work of Children and Families.
* Has excellent IT skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Has experience working in a fast-paced, complex environment.
