Support Engineer South Coast Systems / Dimension Pro Polegate, East Sussex (Hybrid options available) About Us South Coast Systems is a well-established UK technology provider specialising in retail and wholesale solutions for food businesses. We supply and support weighing, labelling and EPOS systems alongside our own in-house software platform, Dimension Pro. Dimension Pro is a powerful ERP solution used by butchers, farm shops, greengrocers and wholesalers across the UK to manage stock, pricing, allergens, orders, invoicing, reporting and integrations. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, long-term client relationships, and practical, real-world solutions. The Role We are looking for a Support Engineer to join our growing support team. This is a hands-on role supporting customers with software and hardware issues, installations, upgrades and day-to-day technical queries. You’ll be a key point of contact for customers, helping them get the most out of Dimension Pro and related systems. Key Responsibilities Provide first and second-line technical support via phone, email and remote access Troubleshoot software, hardware and system integration issues Support installations, upgrades and configuration of Dimension Pro Assist customers with day-to-day usage, training and best practices Log, track and resolve support tickets in line with SLAs Escalate complex issues to development or senior engineers when required Contribute to documentation, internal knowledge bases and user guides Occasionally attend customer sites for installations or support (UK travel) What We’re Looking For Essential: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Confident communication with customers at all technical levels Experience in a technical support, IT support or support engineer role Comfortable supporting Windows-based software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable (but not essential): Experience with ERP, retail, EPOS or business management software SQL knowledge or database troubleshooting experience Hardware support experience (scales, printers, peripherals) Experience supporting food or retail industry systems What We Offer Competitive salary (depending on experience) Friendly, supportive team environment Training on Dimension Pro and supported systems Opportunities to grow into senior support, implementation or development roles Hybrid working options after onboarding Long-term, stable role within an established company How to Apply Please send your CV and a short covering note to: installations@southcoastsystems.co.uk If you have any questions about the role, feel free to get in touch.
