Pertemps are delighted to be supporting our esteemed client in the recruitment of a Yard Operative in Climpy.
Location: Climpy (ML11)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £13.80 per hour
Overtime will be available, paid at time and a half/ double time
Work Schedule: Full-Time, 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Winter hours: 6am-3.45pm
Summer hours: 7am-4.45pm
Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading of mats and other materials
* General yard duties including housekeeping and organisation
* Assisting with the movement and storage of stock within the yard
* Operating basic yard equipment in a safe manner
* Following site health & safety procedures at all times
* Supporting wider yard operations as required
Essential Skills:
* Previous yard operative experience preferable but not essential
* Physically fit with the ability to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and carrying.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable with a strong work ethic.
* Good teamwork skills and a proactive attitude.
