THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager and help lead a busy, high-profile operation. You will be deeply involved in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, acting as a visible leader on the floor and a key driver of standards.
This role requires confidence, calmness under pressure, and the ability to lead teams in a demanding, quality-focused environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations
Lead from the front during service, setting the tone for professionalism and hospitality
Coach, develop, and support managers and front-of-house teams
Maintain exceptional standards across service, guest experience, and presentation
Support labour planning, rotas, and cost control
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or strong Deputy Manager
Background in premium, food-led restaurants
High standards, strong attention to detail, and pride in your work
Confident people leader who performs well in fast-paced environments
Commercially aware with a structured, disciplined approach
