What we're looking for
Vacasa is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance tasks and support the overall quality of our large and quickly growing portfolio of vacation homes. Hours can vary weekly and seasonally based on business needs.
Compensation
* $24 - $25 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on skill, experience, education, and location.
* Up to $100 per month car allowance for eligible employees.

What you'll do
* Complete maintenance tasks and projects, traveling between multiple worksites daily.
* Create a welcoming environment by ensuring homes are well maintained through repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
* Respond to guest maintenance issues, including appliance troubleshooting, cable/wifi issues, basic HVAC repair, and light plumbing.
* Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with team members and management, including regular communication and cross-coverage when needed.
* Maintain hot tubs; training provided on-site.
* Collect and remove trash and debris.
* Follow up on maintenance tasks using our system and respond promptly to urgent needs.
* Use Maintenance Metrics and ticketing systems to track efficiency.
* Coordinate with third-party service providers.
* Attend all mandatory meetings.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
The skills you'll need
* 2 years of basic property maintenance experience (preferred but not required).
* Reliable transportation.
* Smartphone and personal email.
* Ability to lift over 20 lbs regularly.
* Self-motivated, customer service-oriented.
* Ability to see projects through to completion.
* Good problem assessment and solution skills.
* Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
* Comfort with computers and smart devices, including internet access and email use.
