Job Description We are recruiting a Control System Engineer to work on a part time biasis on an FPSO FEED Project for an initial 2-3 month contract role. The parttime role is for three days a week ideally based in Leatherhead. Some remote working may be possible. The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment Job Description • Develops the preliminary and final stage I&C, and design deliverables including contributing to P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Philosophy. • Assists with design development for DCS, PLC, and SCADA-based process control systems for clients and projects. • Collaborates with client counterpart to develop control systems concepts, architectures, and control platforms as applied to the client project. • Performs automation-related job functions as assigned, including, I/O lists, Instrumentation lists, and the specification of instrumentation and control elements. • Support in Control system vendor finalization and EPC contract finalization • Participate in SIL, LOPA, and HAZOP.
