Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities and educational programmes that reflect each child's individual needs, interests, and stage of development.
* Observe, assess, and accurately record children's progress, working closely with parents and guardians.
* Adapt teaching approaches to support a range of learning styles and abilities, ensuring an inclusive, nurturing environment.
* Lead and support a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and training to maintain high‑quality care.
* Ensure children requiring additional support have appropriate targets and regular reviews.
* Monitor and promote health, safety, and emotional well‑being of all children.
* Encourage a positive, collaborative team culture with clear communication.
* Complete required documentation, maintain accurate records, attend room leader meetings.
* Build strong relationships with parents/guardians, providing regular updates.
