The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 15.00hrs to 20.00hrs.

We are recruiting a Facilities Domestic Supervisor for the Royal Alexandria Hosptial in Paisley, within the Clyde Sector of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
The successful candidate will work with the existing team of facilities supervisors within the RAH. The facilities department provides a range of services including domestic, portering and catering. The applicant must have knowledge and experience of working within the cleaning industry, people management, and working in a hospital environment would be an advantage.
The supervisor role is essential for ensuring that all the required cleaning standards are achieved in line with the requirements of the National Cleaning Specification. A sound knowledge of Infection Control procedures, COSHH and Health & Safety procedures is required. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme.
As part of the role you are likely to have contact with patients so good communication skills are essential. You must have a positive, can do attitude and be able to work as part of a very busy team. You must have strong organisational skills and a strong work ethic, and have the ability to fully understand that all tasks are essential and need to be carried out in a safe manner to a very high standard.
You will receive the essential training required, to carry out this role and the successful candidate will be required to attend a centralised induction at WGACH before commencing at RAH site.
