Site Engineer / Site Manager (New Build Educational Project) CLIENT An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer / Manager to join our client's growing construction team, managing a new build educational project from start to finish. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring that works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest HSQE standards. This is a highly varied and rewarding role offering excellent exposure to large-scale project delivery and professional development. THE IDEAL PERSON Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline) 3 years' experience in a similar site management or engineering role Proven experience delivering construction or civil/structural projects Strong leadership, planning and coordination skills Full EU/Irish driving licence Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities Compliant with current Health & Safety standards and practices Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate site activities, liaising with staff, subcontractors, clients, and consultants Manage purchasing, procurement, and delivery of materials and BOQ items Oversee civil and structural works and ensure all installations meet project timelines Prepare engineering reports, method statements, commissioning schedules, and H&S documentation Conduct and enforce site inspections, RAMS, toolbox talks, and risk assessments Liaise with the design team and supply chain to ensure technical compliance Manage submittals, approvals, and material requisitions Lead technical and interface meetings between partners and subcontractors Ensure accurate records, progress reports, and communication with senior management Support completion of projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling software Strong technical and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal and team leadership abilities Working knowledge of contract conditions and project documentation Capable of managing and motivating site teams to achieve results MUST HAVE Third-level degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3 years' site management / engineering experience Strong understanding of construction, design, and safety compliance Valid CSCS / SMSTS / SSSTS or other H&S certification preferred REMUNERATION & BENEFITS Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) Company van & fuel card Laptop / mobile phone provided Pension scheme contributions CPD-accredited employer - opportunities for continuous professional development Supportive, collaborative work environment with strong progression potential FOR FURTHER INFORMATION For further information on this vacancy, or any other Construction / Engineering roles across Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Dan Orr in the strictest confidence.
