Data Engineer (Managed Services Engineer - Structured, Fibre and Voice Cabling Systems)

About the Role
Join NG Bailey IT Services as a Data Engineer and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch cabling solutions! We are looking for someone with a passion for structured and voice cabling to support our contracts across the London region. You will play a crucial role in responding to break-fix issues and minor projects, ensuring our clients receive the best service possible.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will:
* Ensure all allocated calls are delivered within NG Bailey’s clients' Service Level Agreements (SLA).
* Monitor quality and productivity against the program while maintaining daily site records and reports.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through efficient project delivery, optimizing future opportunities and profitability.
* Ensure design and installation meet internal and client specifications as well as statutory requirements.
* Demonstrate experience working within ‘Live’ customer sites.
* Showcase your expertise in the installation of Structured and Voice Cabling Systems.
* Be fully conversant with the setup and operation of Fluke Analysers.
* Locate and rectify faults on structured cabling systems.
What We’re Looking For
We seek candidates who are:
* Willing to travel and possess a valid driving license.
* Experienced in working within ‘Live’ customer sites.
* Skilled in the installation of Structured, Fibre, and Voice Cabling Systems.
* Proficient in the setup and operation of Fluke Analysers.
* Able to locate and rectify faults on structured and fibre optic cabling systems.
* Experienced as an installation engineer (desirable).
* Holder of a CSCS / ECS Card.
* Possessing an Openreach NOPs Card.
* Knowledgeable in Containment Systems Installations.
* IOSH Working Safely certified (desirable).
* Holder of PASMA/IPAF certifications (desirable).
* Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI).
* Accredited with NACCOSS – NSI Certification (desirable).
