The Role
The Drum is seeking a Jury Recruitment Coordinator to support the delivery of jury recruitment mainly across two major global awards programmes taking place in November; The Drum Awards Festival and The Drum B2B Awards.
This is a fast-paced, fixed-term support role focused on helping recruit and coordinate senior marketing and media professionals across a variety of disciplines and regions.
Working closely with the Judging & Strategy Manager, the successful candidate will help:
* research suitable senior marketers and industry professionals
* send and manage outreach
* track confirmations and responses
* maintain and update databases
* support panel completion
* help keep recruitment moving at pace during busy delivery periods.
The role requires someone highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple moving priorities and deadlines. You will work closely with internal teams including events production, communities and data to help ensure recruitment targets are met and panels are completed on schedule.
This role would suit someone interested in marketing, media, events or awards who enjoys organisation, communication and working in a fast-moving environment.
Requirements
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and managing structured information.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with support and guidance.
* Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of the marcoms industry.
* Proactive attitude and the confidence to use your initiative — if something isn’t working, you’re comfortable raising it and suggesting alternative approaches.
* A results-focused mindset — understanding that the goal is securing the right juror, not just sending an email.
* Positive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
* Interest in marketing, media or events is desirable.
