As a Quality Control Analyst you will lead the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) process of the site quality management system and report results to the quality section manager.
How you will contribute
The Quality Control Analyst will support with the testing of packaging, raw materials and finished product across both micro and QC testing. The majority of the testing involves: mean weights, Karl Fischer, pH, GC and HPLC. Raw materials require clear and frequent communication with internal stakeholders such as Procurement and Scheduling and includes testing such as FTIR, UV, density, R.I and optical rotation. All our packaging is also fully tested before being released to stock. Micro testing involves environmental monitoring of surfaces using swabs, air, and water testing. Raw Materials and finished product are also then tested as required.

* Relevant experience in a laboratory
* Experience of being able to follow SOP's methods within a lab and factory and maintain GMP throughout
* Working efficiently on a team in a large matrix organisation
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet customer/business requirements
* Attention to detail and being able to follow written instructions
* Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing with stakeholders
* Project management techniques and working on multiple activities at the same time
* Experience of working with MS office applications
What you need to know about this position: Shift work 10 hours per day Monday -Thursday 36hr in total.
Education / Certifications: Essential a degree in Chemistry or Science related field
Travel requirements: Onsite Crediton -Devon
