Overall Job Purpose
This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative team. As part of the Manufacturing Team, you will:
* Carry out various manufacturing operations associated with assembly, testing, finishing, and calibration of products using standard work instructions.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
* Perform all assembly operations, including hand soldering.
* Conduct in-process inspection & testing.
* Perform sealing & finishing operations.
* Carry out calibration operations.
* Fault find to sub-assembly level on RMAs and production test fails.
* Support Skills Matrix qualification and cross-training of Manufacturing Operatives.
* Champion 5S & Standard Work to maintain and improve product quality and factory productivity.
* Support internal Management System audits (ISO 9001 / 14001).
* Contribute to continuous improvement in product quality and factory productivity.
* Support prototype build & special projects.
* Assist with New Product Introduction.
* Perform any reasonable task in Manufacturing, including Store & Logistics, PCBA, and Main Production.
* Support automated printed circuit board assembly.
* Assist with materials handling & storage, including cycle counting.
* Work in a technical/manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills.
* Apply strong numerical literacy and analytical skills.
* Maintain strong written & verbal communication skills.
