Responsibilities
1. Oversee the design development of water network projects from concept to contract award.
2. Identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to enable scope definition and robust pricing.
3. Assure contractors and manage design changes during construction.
4. Support project teams during commissioning and asset handover.
5. Conduct design reviews ensuring safety and operational requirements are met.
6. Act as the key contact for CDM Designer or Principal Designer roles during initial design stages.
Location & Working Pattern
Hybrid working at Maple Lodge. You must be on site 2-3 days a week, working 36 hours, Monday to Friday. A driving license and car are preferred, but applications are welcome without.
Candidate Requirements
* Engineering HNC, degree, or master’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Chartered engineer or nearing chartership with a relevant professional body.
* Understanding of project delivery principles in process industries.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety in construction.
* Understanding of industrial process decisions in engineering.
