Managing Director | Branding & Design for the energy sector.
LOCATION: Loughborough – Hybrid (1–2 days in studio)

We’re looking for a hands‑on Growth Marketer to help drive our next stage of growth.
Sims Creative is a strategic design and branding agency focused on the energy, cleantech, and EV sectors. We work with ambitious B2B brands on everything from brand strategy and campaigns to creative as a service (CaaS). The foundations are in place – strong offer, a new brand rolling out, high client satisfaction – and now we’re looking for someone to help us scale the visibility and momentum.
This part‑time role (3 days/week) is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of marketing activity – planning and delivering lead generation campaigns, shaping content, building engagement with high‑value prospects, and helping bring our ideas to life through events and outreach. You’ll work closely with the MD – who will support and help steer the strategy – but this is your area to run with.
We’re open‑minded on your background – you might be from an in‑house B2B marketing team or a small agency, looking for flexibility and autonomy.
What you’ll be doing
* Plan, build and optimise demand generation campaigns to reach our ideal clients
* Create and coordinate high‑quality content – case studies, landing pages, outbound emails, etc.
* Manage outreach campaigns via LinkedIn and email, supported by our tools and data
* Coordinate advertising activity, including paid social campaigns (primarily LinkedIn)
* Plan and support marketing‑led events (e.g. webinars, roundtables, small in‑person sessions)
* Set up and test automation workflows (e.g. nurturing journeys, triggers, follow‑ups)
* Monitor performance and help us get smarter with data and insight
* Keep the CRM and pipeline data tidy, structured, and actionable
* Work closely with the MD and Client Services Director to align efforts and support conversion
You’ll be supported with
* Clear targeting and positioning – we know who we’re for, and what makes us different
* Strong case studies, creative assets, and brand clarity
* Access to Apollo, LinkedIn, and email marketing tools (or we’ll switch if needed)
* Direct MD involvement to help shape strategy, unlock content, and support execution
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience planning and delivering B2B marketing campaigns
* Hands‑on with tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Mailchimp or similar (or happy to learn)
* Strong writing and communication skills – able to shape copy that connects
* Confident working across email, LinkedIn, and paid media
* Comfortable planning and coordinating small events
* Highly organised, self‑driven and confident working part‑time
