The Steam projects team leader will be working with the project team to deliver rental boiler packages across UK & Ireland. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of project execution from initial site survey, all the way through to aftercare.
You will
1. Conduct site surveys, when required to ascertain technical requirements of any potential rental solution.
2. Contribute to the design phase of the project.
3. Manage & arrange the commissioning activities prior to customer handover.
4. Work alongside and liaise with third party companies in the delivery and support of projects.
5. Ensure that all equipment complies with PSSR regulations.
6. Maintain regular customer contact to establish requirements and ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered at all times.
7. Maintain the spares management system.
8. Provide technical support to the sales and service team during the tendering phase.
9. To work alongside and collaborate with other Atlas Copco business colleagues to effectively promote Atlas Copco products and services.
10. Manage the team of steam field engineers.

11. Previous project engineering experience, preferably relative to steam boilers.
12. Previous commissioning experience, preferably relative to steam boilers.
13. Experience with Weishaupt & Driezler burners would be advantageous.
14. Strong HSE track record.
15. Experience with pipework, hose work & associated ancillaries.
16. Technical support relative to steam boilers.
17. The ability to read P & ID as well as Electrical schematics.
18. Good technical & theoretical knowledge of steam boilers & subsequent sub-systems.
19. Knowledge of shell/tube steam boilers is crucial.
20. Possess a recognised qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
21. BOAS Cat 2 & IGAS 3 would be advantageous.
22. Good IT skills and competences. Experienced user of the Office .
23. Knowledge of PSSR & PED statutes.
