Role Overview
As a CDM Manager you are expected to have a strong track record in one or, ideally, multiple sectors that BakerHicks operates in. You will be a Chartered Architect/ Engineer/MIOB or equivalent with experience of managing design or acting as a CDM Principal Designer on medium-size projects or managing packages on large projects. You’ll coordinate CDM compliance where BakerHicks have been appointed as Principal Designer under the CDM 2015 Regulations or provide equivalent services where BakerHicks act as an Principal Designer advisor to a third party with the statutory CDM role. Client care and repeat business is crucial to BakerHicks success, so you’ll need to be able to develop and nurture relationships with our clients (both internal and external)
Key Purpose
* Act as Principal Designer on assigned projects and ensure compliance with requirements of CDM 2015 Regulations
* Provide training and advice on CDM good practice and compliance to BakerHicks designers and project managers
* Facilitate regular CDM Reviews with design disciplines on assigned projects
* Provide input into BakerHicks tender submissions
* Management of all aspects of CDM principal Designer services on projects, including time, cost, quality and client relationship management and delivery
