An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional leader to play a pivotal role in the opening of a flagship Special Educational Needs (SEN) Early years/primary school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This school is part of an ambitious international initiative by CareTech, a leading UK-based specialist education group, dedicated to transforming SEN provision through high-quality, inclusive learning environments. We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head Teacher who is passionate about delivering outstanding education for children with special education needs and who thrives in an innovative, dynamic, and culturally diverse setting. The ideal candidate will play an active role in implementing and enforcing the curriculum, programme and policies. About the Role: As Head Teacher, you will lead the school’s day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and pastoral care. Working closely with the Executive Principal and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will establish a culture of high expectations, personalised support, and positive outcomes for students with diverse learning needs. Who We Are Looking For: Essential Qualifications & Experience Proven leadership experience in a SEN early years/primary school, ideally as a Head Teacher, Deputy Head, or equivalent senior leadership role. Bachelor in Education / similar. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in SEN. Advanced practitioner and hands on experience of working with EYFS and the National Curriculum. A strong track record of improving outcomes for students with additional needs, with expertise in curriculum development, inclusion strategies, and whole-school leadership. Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to inspire, engage, and unite teams. Experience in an international setting or working within different educational systems is an advantage but not essential. Benefits: Tax free package (inclusive of basis salary, housing and transport allowances) of up SAR 33,000 per month (approximately £75,000 - £80,000 per annum) depending on experience.
