Position Overview: As an Operation Supervisor, you will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and managing stockroom activities. You will mentor Beauty Advisors Operations on stock processes, helping them develop a deeper understanding of stock management and its impact on the customer experience. Your leadership will focus on optimizing processes, improving inventory management, and ensuring effective loss prevention strategies. This position requires a dynamic individual capable of elevating team performance and operational standards to support the store’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise, train, and coach Beauty Advisors Operations and store staff on stock organisation, safety procedures, and inventory management to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and uphold customer service standards, ensuring high motivation, productivity, and satisfaction.
2. Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear performance goals, and create personalized development plans for team members.
3. Foster a positive, collaborative, and innovative team environment, promoting teamwork, excellence in service, and a culture of continuous improvement.
4. Support senior management in managing employee relations issues, including attendance, lateness, and performance concerns. Assist with investigations and disciplinary procedures.
Stock Operations & Loss Prevention:
1. Oversee accurate inventory control, maintaining stock levels and optimizing product organization for efficiency.
2. Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries, ensuring quality standards and timely processing.
3. Manage stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
4. Monitor loss prevention protocols, conduct stock audits, and collaborate with the team and Operations Manager to address theft, damage, and discrepancies.
Operational Excellence & Customer Support:
1. Optimize stockroom procedures and regularly assess operational processes for improvements.
2. Collaborate with the team to ensure product availability and meet customer demand, especially during busy periods or sales events.
3. Maintain an organized stockroom layout to maximize space and ensure safety standards are met.
4. Assist customers with product inquiries, providing expert advice and personalized recommendations.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven leadership or management experience in retail, with strong knowledge of stock management and operational efficiency.
2. Experience with stock management software and proficient in computer skills related to inventory tracking.
3. Ability to analyze store performance, drive sales, and meet financial targets related to stock operations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
5. Experience handling employee relations issues, including disciplinary processes.
6. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
