Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Foods section. You’ll be a champion of high-quality products, great value offers, and excellent customer service. We’re seeking passionate individuals who take pride in knowledge of M&S Food products and are excited to share it with customers.
Responsibilities
* Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
* Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services
* Utilise digital tools and in-store devices to enhance the customer experience

* High levels of customer service
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent work
* Open to and act upon feedback
* Takes accountability for planning and managing own workload
* Strong communication skills
* Adaptable to changing situations
* Good digital capability and ability to build positive relationships
Working Pattern & Benefits
Working Pattern:
* Sunday: 15:45-19:45
* Monday: 18:45-22:45
* Friday: 18:45-22:45
Note: The £3.00 p/h unsocial premium is added for hours worked between 22:00-06:00.
