Mental Health Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant Aspiring Educational Psychologist Opportunity Reading, Berkshire | ASAP Start Ideal for Psychology, Counselling & Criminology Graduates Are you passionate about supporting children with mental health and complex needs? Are you considering a future career as an Educational Psychologist, Therapist, or SEN Teacher? An outstanding specialist primary SEMH school in Reading, Berkshire is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with children aged 4-11, alongside on-site psychologists, therapists and counsellors, within a highly supportive and well-resourced setting. About the Role Position: Mental Health Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday (8:30am-3:45pm) Pay: £85-£105 per day Location: Reading, Berkshire You will provide consistent, child-centred support to pupils with SEMH needs, helping them to regulate emotions, manage behaviour, and access learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
