Quor is expanding its development team and looking for an experienced PHP Developer (2+ years) to play a key role in our continued growth. This is a hybrid role primarily remote with occasional in‑person team meetings in Devon, so you’ll need to commute when required.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with a team of skilled developers and managers to build cloud‑based solutions for various industries, with our largest customer base in food manufacturing.
* Assisting in the refinement and technical support of existing projects, enhancing functionality, and stretching layout designs.
* Contributing to the adoption of Laravel in upcoming releases while working with legacy systems developed in PHP directly.
* Applying your problem‑solving attitude to overcome technical challenges and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software products.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Good knowledge of PHP 8+ with expertise in MVC (Model‑View‑Controller) and OOP (Object‑Oriented Programming).
* Familiarity with the PHP framework Laravel.
* Proficiency in MySQL and the ability to write queries by hand.
* Knowledge of HTML/CSS to create responsive and visually appealing web applications.
* Experience with JS frameworks such as Vue or Angular.
* Strong GIT proficiency to effectively manage version control.
* A keen problem‑solving attitude and a passion for continuous learning.
* Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
