Location: Rosewood Day Nursery

Salary: £32,700 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

Your Role

As our Nursery Third in Charge, you will:

* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
* Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Understand and implement the statutory framework for the EYFS.


What You Need

To thrive in this role, you should have:

* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential
* Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Essential
* Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position: Desirable
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable
* Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework: Essential
* Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
