I am excited to partner with a leading manufacturer in Fort William who have an immediate vacancy for a Controls & Automation Engineer to join their team at their site. The successful Controls & Automation Engineer will lead a small team responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance on site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically biased engineer to join a long established company located in the heart of the UKs outdoor capital with hundreds of things to do for an outdoor enthusiast. Controls & Automation Engineer Responsibilities:
* Maintain site control systems to minimise breakdown times and ensure efficient recovery after system failures.
* Provide control systems expertise to lead complex control system process troubleshooting.
* Lead site control system maintenance projects and support site electrical engineering capital projects.
* Identify, implement and develop control system and equipment improvements to support operations.
* Supervise, mentor and coach technicians and engineers.
