Purpose Of Role:
This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to become the first dedicated FP&A hire of the business, working with the head of finance as we grow and mature this function.
The FP&A analyst is responsible for forecasting, budgeting and providing valuable analysis to the wider business. This role will work closely with the senior leadership team and is pivotal to ensuring Connected Kerb scales in a robust way.
Key Responsibilities:
* Development of monthly board pack & KPIs reporting, providing insightful commentary for key stakeholders
* Support with investor reporting and managing valuation updates
* Assisting the Head of Finance and CFO in defining departmental KPIs and Targets
* Business partnering the wider business, providing financial support and valuable analysis
* Monthly budget variance analysis, providing insightful commentary for key stakeholders
* Development of internal departmental budgets, which are aligned to overall strategy and top-line objectives. Including ongoing R&O analysis, and regular reforecasting
* Ad Hoc analysis for CFO, Head of Finance and board
* Improve project reporting, ensuring we can accurately and timely report on our key metrics
* Ensuring data validity and optimising Power BI. Work with other data analysts in the business to improve data flow & outcomes as a member of the data working group
* Enhance the accuracy of financial reporting and supporting the team with continuous improvements. This includes better utilizing Dynamics 365
* Power usage, reporting & analysis. Reconciling external electricity reports to our internal back-office data
* Preparing monthly cash flow forecasts and variance analysis

Requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA) with 3+ years working in industry
* Previous experience in a start-up / scale up environment
* Sector specific experience desirable
* Advance excel skills. PowerBI and Dynamics 365 experience advantageous
* Must be eligible to work in the UK
