The Role: You will be working closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing tailored 1:1 and small group support. The role requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning. Key Responsibilities: Provide targeted support for pupils with a range of SEND needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs) Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans Support emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies Encourage independence and confidence in learning Monitor and record pupil progress The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a primary setting A strong understanding of different SEND needs and support strategies A calm, patient and empathetic approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) are desirable but not essential This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community where staff wellbeing and pupil development are prioritised.
