About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced 1:1 SEN Tutor to support students with Special Educational Needs in the Northampton area. This role involves delivering personalised, structured tuition sessions designed to meet each learners individual needs, helping them build confidence and achieve academic progress. Sessions may take place in the students home, school setting, or community venue. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons based on the students EHCP and individual learning needs Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties Build a positive and supportive learning environment Monitor and record student progress Liaise with parents, carers, and relevant professionals where required Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN Relevant teaching qualification or strong subject background Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Excellent communication and behaviour management skills Ability to plan engaging and differentiated lessons Desirable: QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Experience working with EHCPs Background in supporting students with SEMH needs What We Offer: Flexible working hours Competitive pay rates Ongoing support from our team Opportunity to make a genuine impact in a young persons education If you are patient, dedicated, and passionate about supporting students with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
