Engineering Support / Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator

Engineering Support / Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator
This is a hands-on role involving general maintenance, basic mechanical repairs, plant lubrication, and ensuring high standards of housekeeping within engineering and waste water areas.
With full training and support, you will:
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised engineering workshop
* Digitally log reactive and PPM works
* Equipment checks
* Basic building repairs (inc. painting, plastering)
* Mechanical maintenance (inc. lubrication, belts, bearings)
* Maintain a safe and hygienic workplace
* Order specific parts according to the job in hand
* Identify issues then communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams

The Person
* Basic engineering or mechanical aptitude
* Ability to carry out general repairs (e.g. patching, painting, basic maintenance)
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Good communication and organisational skills
* High attention to detail and pride in work
* Proficient in using IT systems
* Reliable, dependable, and professional
* Forklift/IPAF/PASMA/Site Safety/Confined Space Certificate are ideal
