About the role
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Land Advice Officer to develop and deliver our ambitions to support farmers and land managers in adopting sustainable land management systems.
Key responsibilities
1. Support and deliver land advice and farm liaison activities.
2. Lead the establishment of a land advice service by developing new offers.
3. Contribute to the Transforming Land Management project, promoting wetter farming on lowland agricultural peat.
4. Support land managers and farmers in transitioning to sustainable practices that aid nature recovery.
5. Collaborate with colleagues, identify opportunities, and develop projects and offers.
Candidate profile
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with empathy for farmers and the farming community. Ecological expertise and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Passionate and committed to helping land managers transition to sustainable systems supporting nature’s recovery.
