Salary: From £39,000
Location : Hybrid working – 1 day per week at a Bupa Office
Contract type: Permanent
Shift pattern: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

As a Performance and Business Management - Data Analyst you will support the business management capabilities of the market-unit wide Platforms and Internal Products function, which has a budget exceeding 100 million and involving over 400 personnel.
The Business Management function is a support tower within IP&P technology which manages a large amount of financial and other performance data, including risk. There are also other data sets in the wider Bupa team containing key information, ranging from contract and procurement data through to incident, change, and problem records, which, if brought together, will provide powerful insights that can be used for setting direction and supporting decision making in the ongoing transformation and continuous improvement of BGIUK Technology.
Key Responsibilities
As a Performance and Business Management - Data Analyst, you will:
1. Provide/utilise data and systems analysis to Define metrics to monitor and report the efficacy and efficiency of the product. Develop models and use data facts drive decisions in the product team
2. Support the commercial leadership of the function with a focus on cost to serve, financial planning and management, vendor cost management as well as supporting the building of effective and transparent cost allocation methodologies for shared platforms and internal /functions’ products as we shift to a reuse model and FinOps. Support business case development and management (including benefits), in partnership with the finance teams.
3. Support the ongoing generation, presentation, storytelling and communications of the platforms/internal products’ strategy, performance and progress in conjunction with the Market.
4. Support a culture of measurement and actionable, data-driven decision making across the function to improve the products and services we provide. Support the design, delivery and provision of insights of the operational performance and user experience of our function, (in conjunction with the product and platform teams). Provide reporting on XLA’s, SLA’s and OLA’s (both internal and external), to inform and perform
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
5. Graduate level or equivalent business experience with relevant qualifications
6. Commercial judgement - The ability to understand business and deliver the business performance needed to achieve our purpose and goals
7. Data management experience, inc. data analysis, PowerBI, continuous improvement of data quality and standards
8. Numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
9. Excellent standard of written and presentation skills with high proficiency of working in Excel
10. Experience of collaborating with senior business and technology leaders to achieve outcomes
11. Strong influencing skills across stakeholders, colleagues and external vendors
