If you’re looking for a place to grow, innovate, and be valued, we’d love to hear from you.*Job Summary*Pointer Ltd. are recruiting for a Project Engineer/Security Installation Engineer to be responsible for the successful installation and commissioning work on our projects in a safe, efficient manner, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction to ensure the successful delivery to plan and budget.Your expertise will ensure the seamless deployment of advanced security systems, consistently delivering high-quality service that exceeds client expectations. You will ensure all work is performed in line with company standards, adhering to relevant British Standards, and prioritising performance, safety, and compliance at every stage of the project_This role will require travel._*Key Responsibilities:** Carry out quality installations of IP CCTV, Intruder & PIDS systems, predominantly within a substation environment* Work collaboratively with specialist sub-contractor resource* Liaise with clients and attend site meetings to ensure and maintain positive customer relationships* Provide regular project reports as directed by Project Manager/Project Supervisor* Accurate, and timely completion of documentation* Time management and program delivery*Who are you*You have a proven track record of being able to work independently, as well as working as part of a team, in a project-oriented environment and possess strong problem-solving abilities, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges on-site. You have an excellent attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and excellent communication skills in order to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable tasks.You put focus on time management and bring a strong commitment to continuous learning, staying up to date with evolving technologies in the security and systems integration fields*Required Experience & Qualifications** Minimum of 3 years of experience installing similar equipment* ECS - CSCS* High level of experience of access control and IP CCTV security disciplines* Ideally, experience of installing: IDS (Galaxy), IP CCTV (AXIS & Bosch), VMS (Adpro / AXIS) and PIDS (South West Microwave / Optex Fibre Sence)* Working knowledge of CDM regulations on projects would be an advantage* Experience of working in a project-oriented environment, both as part of a team or independently* Current full driving license.* Must be eligible to work in the UK.*Benefits:*At Pointer, we don’t just offer a job — we offer a rewarding career with benefits that support your growth, well-being, and work-life balance.
