This is a field-based role focused on developing new business opportunities, growing the client base, and building long-term commercial relationships. Job type: Full time, permanent Location: Hastings Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 p/a Competitive commission/bonus structure Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients Attend customer sites to understand technical requirements and propose suitable solutions Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through to contract completion Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline progress Represent the business professionally at meetings, events, and site visits Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements: Proven experience in business development, field sales, or technical sales Engineering or technical background, or strong experience selling technical products or services Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role Full UK driving licence and ability to drive as part of the role Competent IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Our Ideal Candidate: A confident and proactive sales professional with a technical mindset Someone comfortable engaging with customers at all levels A resilient, target-driven individual who thrives in a field-based environment A professional who takes pride in representing their employer and delivering results How to Apply: If you have the experience, drive, and technical sales background to succeed in this role, we would really like to hear from you.
